Viet Soul 1 — September 2023
Our inaugural showcase marked the beginning of the Viet Soul series—an artistic journey celebrating the richness of Vietnamese musical heritage through a fusion of traditional and contemporary forms. Inspired by the folk rhythms of Northern Vietnam, Viet Soul 1 invited audiences into a carefully curated cultural experience. From the evocative sounds of traditional instruments to modern reinterpretations, the performance brought to life the beauty, depth, and emotion of Vietnam's musical landscape. More than a concert, it was a storytelling experience—capturing the spirit of the mountains, the intimacy of cultural traditions, and the timeless connection between music and identity.
Viet Soul 2 — August 2024
Building on the success of our inaugural showcase, Viet Soul 2 expanded into a richer, more collaborative production—bringing together multicultural artists and emerging talents to strengthen and celebrate our growing creative community. This performance invited audiences on a journey through the Central and Highland regions of Vietnam, highlighting the distinctive sounds and cultural expressions of these areas. From the powerful rhythms of traditional instruments to the unique musical heritage of ethnic communities in Tây Nguyên, Viet Soul 2 showcased the diversity, beauty, and spirit of Vietnam's cultural landscape. Blending tradition with collaboration, the show created a vibrant platform where cultures met, stories were shared, and new artistic voices were brought to life.
Tính Tình Tang - September 2025
Marking the third year of VACEO's signature productions, Tính Tình Tang is a large-scale cultural showcase that brings together the very best of Vietnamese artistic expression in Australia. Featuring master musicians, dancers, youth performers, and community ensembles, the production represents a vibrant tapestry of tradition, creativity, and community spirit. Rooted in the rhythms and melodies that define Vietnamese culture, Tính Tình Tang celebrates both heritage and evolution—honouring the past while embracing new voices and interpretations. More than a performance, it is a gathering of generations and talents, reflecting the strength and diversity of the Vietnamese-Australian community, and continuing VACEO's mission to preserve, celebrate, and inspire through culture.
