Experience VietSoul I, first in the series of concerts to explore Vietnamese and Australian cultures through the magic of traditional music and performing arts.

Immerse yourself in the Northwestern mountains during the blooming season of Ban flowers. Journey to the Phiên market, and experience the intimate melodies of the Mèo flute, capturing the essence of romantic encounters between H’mong young men and women.

Witness the majestic mountain landscapes with the Tày girls’ melodies and the sound of the Tính zither, capturing the spirit of the vibrant early spring.

Program:

6pm: Welcome workshop
– Sạp dance with Viet Vu and Pink Lotus dancers 
– Learn to play the Didgeridoo with Jordan
– Experience African drumming with Chris
– Dress up in historical costumes representing various Nguyễn dynasty figures provided by the Vietnam Center and capture these memorable moments

7:30: Performance commences
